Michael Beale breaks Rangers silence on Ryan Kent to Fenerbahce transfer talk as boss delivers Morelos and Tillman updates

Michael Beale doesn't believe there is any truth in reports linking Ryan Kent with a move to Fenerbahce. And the boss also revealed the club have held internal talks over Kent Alfredo Morelos futures at Rangers - while holding the door open to sign Malik Tillman permanently.

The Ibrox side face Aberdeen this weekend looking to pick themselves up from back-to-back defeats and Beale is hoping to finish the season strong. A number of players in the squad are fighting for their futures and that includes Kent and Morelos who are out of contract in the summer. It's generally expected both will leave unless there is a dramatic change in circumstances but Beale refused to rule anything out - revealing only that "conversations" have been held over their respective futures.

Kent has been heavily linked with a free transfer to Fenerbahce but Beale said: "I don't think there's any truth in that," and went on: "Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent have been important players for a number of years. We have had conversations internally."

"There have been big decisions made in terms of infrastructure within the club. I have been kept aware of everything happening and these changes are aligned with the direction we are headed."

Beale also ruled Tillman out for the season in an injury hammer blow but that's not to say the Bayern Munich loanee has played his final game for the club. The Ibrox boss was keen to stress the club would like to sign him if he wants to return and they can trigger a £5m option to buy for the USA international

Beale said: "Malik Tillman has been great for the club. I he wants to be here in Glasgow then that is something we would like to have further conversations on."

And Beale also revealed Ridvan Yilmaz and Rabbi Matondo are among the fringe men set for a chance to impress in the closing stages of the season. He added: "Yilmaz and Matondo haven't had the chance to fully show themselves yet so there is an opportunity for that in the remaining games."
