Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has praised Pep Guardiola's side after they defeated neighbours Manchester United 2-0.
City were the better side in every aspect of the game on Saturday afternoon, dominating Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side at Old Trafford.
City took the lead early after Eric Bailly turned into his own goal from a cross, before Bernardo Silva snuck in at the back post to divert Joao Cancelo's ball into the back of the net.
That was more than enough for City to hold on to, as they would manage the game out comfortably in the second-half.
City held United to just 32 per cent possession, one shot on goal and just three touches in their box in a complete dominance of the derby.
And speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Richards applauded City's overall performance.
Richards said: "They were scintillating from the word go. The movement, the passing, the press, just everything.
"The game against Palace was sloppy, and it was a bit sloppy today, but when they turn it on they’re incredible to watch.
"They dominate, they all know how to play and to do it against their rivals is just excellent."
City bounced back after their worst performance of the season last week, losing 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace.
