Micah Richards in tears laughing after Roy Keane's Christmas present for him - with special note

Fans have been left in stitches after Micah Richards received a Christmas present from Roy Keane - including a special note for just him.

Keane and Richards have become a popular duo on Sky Sports, particularly since a special series for Euro 2020 saw them driving around London.

Which is why Sky decided to reunite them for a few Christmas specials entitled 'Micah and Roy: Driving Home for Christmas'.

The Sky Bet original made its debut this week and received rave reviews upon dropping on social media.

Episode one begins with Keane handing Richards a Christmas present - a signed copy of his autobiography!

“You’ve not been arguing with fans, have you?” Richards jokes, referring to the incident at Old Trafford after Manchester United were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City in November.

"It's a great read. There's a special message just for you there." Roy jokes.

It turns out the legendary Corkman had scribbled 'To Micah, who burst on the scene?'.

It was a cheeky dig at the pair's famous argument which left Roy momentarily stunned on one of their first games as pundits.

A doctor has revealed the part that former Manchester United star Keane played in a “Christmas miracle” back in his native county of Cork two decades ago.

Keane has developed a reputation for being a hardman throughout his playing and punditry career, with the miracle coming back when he was featuring for the Red Devils.

At the time, he was captain of a United side that had just won their third successive Premier League title, with the last being his sixth title win at Old Trafford.

As a result, he would have been one of the stars of the English top-flight, with United also arguably the biggest club in the world under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson.

During the Christmas period, many clubs send their star players to hospitals and events to spread some festive cheer among those less fortunate.

But it appears that Keane also took it upon himself to cheer up sick children who were spending Christmas on a paediatrics ward.

Dr Niamh Ni Loinsigh has posted a video on social media in which she gives her account of Keane’s visit to a hospital two decades ago.
