Micah Richards hilariously stumbles over Club Brugge pronunciation during Man City game

Micah Richards has made his mark once again in the punditry studio after debating how to pronounce Manchester City's opponents Club Brugge.

Having coasted to a third Premier League title in four years - in addition to winning another Carabao Cup - manager Pep Guardiola and his star-studded team fell at the final hurdle in their quest for European honours last season.

Indeed, they were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea in their first ever Champions League showpiece.

Resuming their latest charge for that elusive trophy against Belgian opponents this afternoon, the City match is all set to be analysed by one of their former players; Richards.

The ex-England international has been a breath of fresh air since hanging up his boots and becoming a pundit.

A constant source of humour and positivity, Richards has even brought out a lighter side in Roy Keane and tends to dovetail well with pretty much all of his BBC Sport, BT Sport and Sky Sports colleagues.

Here, the City graduate has been joined on the CBS Sports Galazo panel by Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry.

And they couldn't help but laugh when Richards discussed, with himself, the best way to pronounce Brugge!

In a short video clip posted on social media, he said: "This is a tough game; Brugge, Bruggah, however you want to pronounce it."

Who will win the Champions League this season? Have your say in the comments section below.

Carragher added: "Pick one!"

Richards continued: "Haha! I'm going to go alternative; tomato, tomato! I thought it would be nice to do both.

"This is a difficult game and City will need to be on top of their game to get something."
