Mic’d-up Tom Brady wanted no piece of Aaron Donald: ‘You out of your mind?’

Aaron Donald may not be the biggest player in the NFL and he’s certainly viewed as somewhat undersized as a defensive tackle, but he strikes fear in just about everyone who lines up across from him – as well as quarterbacks, of course.

He was mic’d up for Super Bowl LIII and it’s clear he likes to talk to opposing offensive linemen, asking the Patriots repeatedly for a one-on-one matchup. He provided some great moments when he was wired for sound, but it was Tom Brady doing the talking after this play.

After a handoff, Tom Brady stepped out of the way of a charging Donald, saying, “You think I want to hit you?” after the play. The clip can be seen at the 2:20 mark in the video below.

Donald is a player that quarterbacks want to avoid at all costs, so Brady certainly wasn’t going to step in front of him to lay any sort of block. It was a wise business decision by the 41-year-old Brady.
