Duke Blue Devils: After taking four victories from 15 conference games and suffering defeats against each of the six ranked opponents they’ve faced since January, it’s fair to say 2019 hasn’t gotten off to a convincing start for the Hurricanes.

Likely No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick Zion Williamson suffered a knee injury during Duke’s 72-88 loss to North Carolina in February. The 18-year-old forward hasn’t turned out for his team in their two games since then and could sit out the rest of the NCAA season.
Duke will be disappointed if that is the case and their standout star opts to preserve himself for the draft. That being said, coach Mike Krzyzewski has other reliable players such as center Marques Bolden, guard Tre Jones, as well as forwards R.J. Barrett and Cam Reddish.
Miami Hurricanes: Miami guards Anthony Lawrence II, Dejan Vasiljevic and Chris Lykes have featured as three of their leader figures in 2018-19, with the latter (Lykes) leading his side in average points per game (16.9) and assists per game (3.1).
The Hurricanes last clinched victory at Duke in January 2015 when Duke was No. 4 in the nation and Miami were unranked, hoping for a similar upset in Durham on Saturday.
Zion’s absence hands Duke a dilemma in how to restore their lost verve, but Duke should still have enough resources to beat a side that’s defeated them three times in their last five meetings.
