Miami Dolphins inactives for Week 9 vs. the Jets

The Miami Dolphins are a little over an hour from kickoff, and we now know which Dolphins on the 53-man roster will not be suiting up for today’s game. The Dolphins shared the inactives list just moments ago.

There is little in the way of surprises this week — as both Reshad Jones and Daniel Kilgore continue to struggle getting healthy and back on track to contribute for the Dolphins through the heart of the season. Neither practiced yet again this week, a frustrating string of weeks for both veteran Dolphins.

But the silver lining for Miami is they can continue to evaluate alternate options at both positions — with Eric Rowe playing some safety and Evan Boehm manning the heart of the offensive line at the center position. Boehm has played well in his reps inside and will look to further press the Dolphins to consider letting him have an extended shot playing center. Given the Dolphins’ youth movement, Boehm makes more sense in 2020 than Kilgore — but could he possibly be handed the starting gig?

Elsewhere, the Dolphins will miss CB Ken Webster, although his absence shouldn’t be a surprise after he was injured against Pittsburgh. The Dolphins take the field at 1 PM at Hard Rock Stadium looking for their first win of 2019.
