Miami Dolphins inactives for Week 7 vs. Buffalo

The Miami Dolphins are a little over an hour from kickoff, and we now know which Dolphins on the 53-man roster will not be suiting up for today’s game. The Dolphins shared the inactives list just moments ago.

The Dolphins have made the surprise decision to not dress cornerback Xavien Howard, leaving the Dolphins’ secondary in sorry shape today to face the Bills. The decision to not dress DE Avery Moss and C Daniel Kilgore doesn’t come as a surprise — nor does the absence of S Reshad Jones. But Miami was already facing a bad match-up against the Bills pass game. The best way to deter Buffalo’s offense is to force mistakes from quarterback Josh Allen as a passer.

Miami will be hard pressed to do so, given their paltry pass rush and the absence of the two most accomplished and talented defenders in the secondary. It won’t be long before we find out how much of an impact the absence of Jones and Howard takes on Miami — the Dolphins visit Buffalo today with a scheduled 1PM EST kickoff.
