Miami Dolphins inactives for Week 6 vs. Washington

The Miami Dolphins are a little over an hour from kickoff, and we now know which Dolphins on the 53-man roster will not be suiting up for today’s game. The Dolphins shared the inactives list just moments ago.

The Dolphins are experiencing their worst week of injury yet. Missing WR Jakeem Grant was something to be expected after a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport this morning — but seeing the team’s best player in Xavien Howard on the list as well is a significant blow to anyone hoping Miami notches their first win of the season in 2019 today. Howard’s knee issue is one to monitor — remember, he missed 4 games in 2018 with a knee issue and was also hampered by a knee problem during his rookie season in 2016.

The Dolphins will of course miss each of the players on this week’s inactives list but Grant and Howard loom large as big losses for the Dolphins. The loss of Johnson Bademosi shouldn’t be overlooked, either. His absence will test Miami’s depth not just on defense but also on special teams.

The Dolphins will host Washington at Hard Rock Stadium today with a scheduled 1PM EST kickoff.
