Mia Khalifa infatuation with Aaron Mooy resurfaces as adult star swoons over Celtic man

Former adult star Mia Khalifa has picked Aaron Mooy as one of her favourite footballers alongside Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham.

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid star Beckham topped her list, with ex-Bernabeu teammate and current boss Zizou not far behind in second. But Celtic midfielder and Australia international Mooy was a surprise inclusion in her top three, after catching the eye when starring for Huddersfield Town in the Premier League.

Bizarrely, Khalifa compared Mooy (9) to NBA star Kawhi Leonard when saluting her unlikely crush. But it’s Mooy’s character off the pitch which has won the ex-actress' affections, as she explained in an interview that’s recently re-appeared and caused a storm after Mooy's heroics for Australia in Qatar. She said: “Aaron Mooy is like the Kawhi Leonard of football. He acts like him - he's kind of camera shy, he's a little goofy but you never see it. I don't know, he reminds me of him (Leonard), he seems like a nice guy.”

Mooy helped Graham Arnold’s Socceroos reach the last 16 of the World Cup. After a heavy opening defeat to France, the Aussie beat Tunisia 1-0 then shocked Denmark in their final group game to book their spot in the knock-out stage. Leo Messi’s Argentina proved a step too far however. A 2-1 defeat meant it was home time for Mooy and his mates.

Attention now returns to Premiership action. Celtic resume their campaign away to Aberdeen this Saturday lunchtime.

Ange Postecoglou’s men are nine points clear of rivals Rangers at the top of the table, although the Light Blues are back in action two days earlier, hosting Hibs at Ibrox on Thursday night.
