Mia Farrow has accused her former partner Woody Allen of “weaponising” her adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn against her.

Previn has been married to Allen since 1997. Farrow reportedly made the comments during an interview that will air as part of the final episode of the HBO docuseries Allen v Farrow.

The four-part series focuses on the sexual abuse allegations made against the Annie Hall filmmaker in 1992 by his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow, which Allen has always categorically denied.

In the final episode, Farrow discussed learning of Allen’s affair with Previn, and the allegations that he sexually assaulted Dylan Farrow in the family’s attic in 1992 when she was seven years old.

Per People, Farrow said that Allen had “weaponised two of my children that he’s turned against me”, referring to Previn and Moses Farrow.

“I love Soon-Yi. It took me six years to throw away the Christmas stocking I knitted for her thinking she would come back, but she didn’t,” she added.

Moses is the adopted son of Allen and Farrow, who has spoken out in defence of Allen in the past.

A representative for Allen described Allen v Farrow as a “shoddy hit piece”, claiming that Allen was approached by filmmakers less than two months before the documentary’s release and “given only a matter of days ‘to respond’”.

In the UK, the series is set to begin on Sky Documentaries tonight (15 March) at 9pm.
