Paraguay is in a similar position as their CONCACAF opponents. Eduardo Berizzo was brought in as his replacement in February and only has a few months to put together his squad for this summer’s Copa America. They’ll have their hands full as they’ve been drawn into an incredibly difficult group alongside Argentina, Colombia and reigning Asian champions Qatar.
La Albirroja’s most dangerous player is undoubtedly Miguel Almiron. The dynamic midfielder joined Newcastle United in the Premier League after two extremely successful years with Atlanta United. He’ll surely be aiming to impress against the manager he won an MLS Cup with just four months ago. This one promises to be an exciting affair as both teams are looking to impress ahead of major international competitions this summer.
