Mexico's confirmed coronavirus deaths surpass 57,000

Mexico's health ministry reported on Monday 3,571 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infections and 266 additional fatalities, bringing the total in the country to 525,733 cases and 57,023 deaths.

The government has said the real number of infected people is likely significantly higher than the confirmed cases.
