Mexico reports 317,635 total cases of coronavirus, 36,906 deaths

Mexico's Health Ministry on Wednesday reported 6,149 new confirmed coronavirus infections and 579 additional fatalities, bringing the total in the country to 317,635 cases and 36,906 deaths.

The government has said the real number of infected people is likely significantly higher than the confirmed cases.
