MEXICO fans have been setting off fireworks outside the hotel the England team are staying in ahead of Monday's clash.
England will take on Mexico in the last 16 of the World Cup at 1am on Monday, July 6.
It follows confusion over whether the game would be brought forward or disrupted as a result of stormy weather.
Hundreds of Mexico fans have gathered outside the hotel Thomas Tuchel's side are staying in, with video footage showing fireworks being set off and loud music being played.

The location of the hotel had previously been kept under wraps to prevent such disturbances, but fans were able to locate it and booed the team on arrival.
Fifa said that roadblocks around the England team's hotel in Mexico City would be set up to avoid further disruption.
The road was closed off, with fans pushed back 300 metres away from England's hotel.
In response, sports account ESPN Mexico shared on Twitter/X: "There will be no serenade at the Hotel Inglaterra."

Manager Tuchel confirmed his team would bring earplugs in preparation for the disruption.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that the spectacle had no impact on the squad, who were said to have found it "amusing rather than intimidating".
Mexico fans previously targeted Ecuador's hotel ahead of their round of 32 match.
In response, Ecuador filed a complaint with Fifa arguing that the fans' behaviour violates the core principles of fair play and unity.
While England had hoped to arrive at the last minute, under Fifa regulations competing teams are required to be in the host city of the game they are playing within 24 hours of kick off.
