ATLANTA _ Matt Harvey is not a starting pitcher anymore.
The struggling one-time ace has been moved to the bullpen, Mets manager Mickey Callaway announced.
Harvey gave up six runs on seven hits in his first 21/3 innings against the Braves on Thursday night as the Mets fell, 12-4, at SunTrust Park.
The one-time Mets ace tried to make a case to stay in the rotation after the game, proclaiming himself to be "a starting pitcher." But the Mets could not ignore the numbers _ 0-2, with a 6.00 ERA.
Harvey will be available in relief starting Tuesday.
