Metrolink trams between Rochdale Town Centre and Rochdale Train Station have been disrupted after a stolen taxi was abandoned on the tracks on Drake Street early this morning.
Greater Manchester Police are currently working to clear the stolen taxi which is blocking scheduled Metrolink services.
Metrolink tweeted at 12.20am Saturday August 14: "Due to a stolen taxi blocking the track at Drake Street in Rochdale there are currently no services operating between Rochdale Town Centre and Rochdale Train Station in both directions."
"Passengers should make their way between stops."
