The Government has revealed the preferred route for the MetroLink, Dublin's proposed underground train system linking Dublin Airport to the city.
The preferred route will link the airport with town with a journey time of 20 minutes, and MetroLink will link the transport hub with the Luas, BusConnects, DART and Irish Rail services.
The plans will no longer head out as far as Sandyford, instead terminating at Charlemont.
There are plans to link services with the Luas in the future.
