Meth man caught in Samut Prakan

A young man was arrested and more than 10 million methamphetamine pills seized from his house in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan, early on Tuesday.

Police from Metropolitan Police Division 8 raided the house in tambon Bang Kaeo. They found 10,310,000 speed pills in neatly wrapped packages. The raid took place at around 1.30am.

The young man, Pongsakorn “Bomb’’ Phravorn, 22, was detained at the house, Thai media reported on Tuesday.

The raid followed information that Mr Pongsakorn was a major drug trafficker. Police had closely monitored his activities and suspected him of storing large quantities of methamphetamine at the house.
