Metallica offers up amazing Christmas present for their fans

The two Metallica shows over the weekend were truly something to behold, as the biggest-selling Bay Area band of all time celebrated its 40th anniversary with a pair of epic setlists that mixed big hits with deep cuts.

Fans can enjoy these shows again — or for the first time — when they become available for On Demand viewing via the the Coda Collection on Amazon Prime.

The concerts will be available for viewing over the extended Christmas weekend — from noon Dec. 24 to 11:59 p.m. Dec. 27 (ET) — making for a sensational holiday present for Metallica fans.

Metallica touched upon each studio album in its catalog (with the exception of the Lou Reed collaboration, “Lulu”) in ascending chronological order during its first 40th anniversary show (Dec. 17) at San Francisco's Chase Center.

Then, the band went in the opposite direction on Dec. 19, moving through its catalog — one album at a time — in descending chronological order.

The Coda Collection features music documentaries, concerts and other content. It is available to Amazon Prime members in the U.S. for $4.99 per month. Yet, there is with a free seven-day trial. Visit www.codacollection.co to check out the Coda Collection’s library of music-related content.
