The Met Office has issued a weather warning as heavy showers and thunderstorms are set to batter Merseyside.
Today (Friday) is the warmest day we've had in a while, with temperatures predicted to reach 26C in Liverpool. However, the summery weather is not set to last, with rain to follow.
Saturday is also forecast to be warm, with expected highs of 23C, but there'll also be plenty of showers and storms.

A yellow weather warning is in place for Merseyside and other parts of the UK between 9am and 11.59pm on Saturday, July 8. The Met Office said people can expect flooding which can "happen quickly".
There may also be damage to buildings, transport cancellations or delays, and some road closures. Looking further ahead, Sunday will also be rainy, though no warning is in place, with highs of 20C.
Things will then turn cooler, as the highest temperature predicted on Monday is 19C, falling to 17C for Tuesday through to Thursday (July 13).
The Met Office advises people to check if their home is at risk of flooding ahead of thunderstorms, and you can do this here. If it is at risk, the Met Office suggests you prepare a flood plan which includes a list of useful contact numbers, such as your local council, utility providers and insurance company, as well as learning how to shut off your gas or electricity supply, and moving valuable belongings to a safe place.
