Met Office weather latest: When it's going to rain in Bristol according to the experts

Bristol is set for a mixed bag of weather this weekend, says the Met Office.

The city is expected to sit under overcast skies today (January 25), while remaining largely dry, with highs of 8C.

Heavy rain is predicted tomorrow from 12pm until 6pm and temperatures are forecast to reach 10C.

Light showers are expected at mid-afternoon on Monday, alongside some sunny spells, on a day set to mainly be dry.

In its weekend forecast for the South West, the Met Office says: "A cloudy start, with patches of drizzle or showers likely at times through [Saturday].

"Hill fog will linger in places. Temperatures around average. Maximum temperature 10C."

In its outlook for Sunday to Tuesday, the forecaster predicts: "An unsettled outlook, with heavy rain and gales possible at times.

"Isolated thunderstorms and hill snow possible. Potential for some brighter and clearer spells between bands of rains. Cold throughout."
