Met Office weather forecast: It will be a wet start to the week

It looks like it's going to be a fairly dry but cloudy week for Bristol with both rain and sunny spells predicted throughout the week.

The Met Office expects temperatures on Monday (August 19) to peak at 19C, but it will be a fairly wet and cloudy start to the day.

Rain is expected throughout the morning and there is a chance of some heavy showers as we get closer to lunchtime, around 11am.

But it's expected to get a lot brighter in the afternoon with temperatures reaching 19C and it will be breezy, but less so than previous days.

Similar temperatures and weather are predicted on Tuesday, although less of a chance of rain. It's expected to start off sunny, but get increasingly cloudy by the afternoon.

The rest of the week looks similar to Tuesday - cloudy with sunny intervals.

It looks like it will remain dry for the rest of the week and temperatures will rise to 21C by Friday with lighter winds expected.
