The rain should ease by around 6pm, but then return throughout the night and into the early hours of Monday.

Temperatures will be up to a balmy 13deg C, which would feel nice and mild were it not for the rain and the main feature of Sunday's weather - the wind.

The average speed of the wind will be up above 25mph for almost all of Sunday, but that wind will be gusting in Bristol up to almost 60mph - and higher on exposed places.

There is the widespread possibility of disruption to travel, damage from the storm, roads and rail affected, so follow Bristol Live's updates liveblog throughout the day to see how the city has been hit.
