Met Office weather forecast for Leeds promises even more sunshine on Friday

The city looks set to experience another dry and bright day on Friday as forecasters predict a dry and sunny day for Leeds.

Sunshine is expected to last for the entirety of Friday, with forecasters predicting a less than 5% chance of rain.

Temperatures for the day will be between 14 °C and 3 °C, bringing them in line with the seasonal average expected for March.

Sunrise will take place at 6.15am and sunset at 6.15pm.

Elsewhere in the county, Yorkshire is expected to see a chilly start to the day, with early fog patches in place on Friday morning. According to the Met Office, despite the chilly start sunny spells will continue to develop as the fog clears, before becoming a little breezy particularly in coastal areas.

Maximum temperatures for the day will be around 14 °C, with a minimum of 3°C expected.

Looking further ahead, Saturday will see a similar forecast of chilly starts to the day with fog patches expected before becoming dry with plenty of sunshine as the day progresses. The weather will become a little cloudier on Sunday and through to Monday, with an increasing risk of showery rain reported for the start of next week.
