Met Office weather forecast for Leeds on Wednesday as city set for mild, windy day with some sunshine

Leeds is set for a cloudy and mild day on Wednesday with some instances of sunshine in the afternoon.

According to the Met Office, it is set to be cloudy from the morning when the sun rises just before 8am.

There are some sunny intervals between 2pm and 4pm and temperatures are predicted to peak at 17°c.

The Met Office also says there is a very low chance of rain throughout the day, though temperatures are set to drop to just 13°c at night time.

It's set to be quite a windy day, with gusts of wind heading from the south west expected to reach over 30mph in parts of Leeds.

And it is set to be much the same throughout Yorkshire on Tuesday, with the region not welcoming any weather extremes and most areas experiencing a mild and cloudy day with some periods of sun.

And the weekly forecast is saying that it will be "mild but unsettled", with long periods of rain settling in around Wednesday.
