Met Office weather forecast for Leeds on Tuesday, June 7 as cloudy spells predicted and little chance of rain

It's set to be a brighter start to the day in Leeds on Tuesday. There will be sunny intervals throughout the morning changing to cloudy spells by lunchtime.

The good news is, there is very little chance of rain, according to the Met Office forecast. Temperatures will be as high as 18C in the city, with lows expected around 12C.

The afternoon will see cloudy spells before sunny patches breakthrough during the evening. Forecasters estimate that temperatures will be at their highest between 4pm and 7pm.

The Met Office forecast for Leeds says: "Mostly cloudy, particularly eastern parts where light rain or drizzle likely. A brighter afternoon with hazy sunshine, and perhaps a few showers. Cloudy overnight with rain late on. Maximum temperature 18 °C."

From Tuesday onwards we can expect high chances of rain, with thunderstorms predicted during the early afternoon. Forecasters have said the weather will be: "Cloudy with rain Wednesday morning, brighter later but with scattered heavy showers, perhaps thundery at times. Bright spells and isolated showers Thursday and Friday. Breezy at times. Temperatures near average."
