Met Office weather forecast for Leeds on Monday as cloudy skies expected

It will be a cloudy day in Leeds today with the chance of some showers later in the afternoon.

The Met Office says Yorkshire is in for a "cloudy but mostly dry start to the day" and has warned "scattered showers" could start to fall as we move into mid-afternoon.

It will become increasingly windy throughout the day with maximum temperatures of around 13C expected in the county. Looking further ahead, sunny spells are expected from Wednesday but it will remain cloudy for most of the week.

Turning back to today (Mon) in Leeds, it will be a cloudy day throughout. There is a slight chance of rain at around 5pm but it will remain mostly dry for the rest of the day.

Temperatures could reach 14C in the afternoon. The sun will rise at 6.16am and set again at 8pm.
