Temperatures across Yorkshire are continuing to drop with snow forecast for the region today.

In Leeds, Wednesday morning will start off with a mixture of light and heavy rain which is set to continue into the afternoon.

Sleet and sleet showers will last from around 8pm to 10pm with the rest of the night expected to remain cloudy and dry.

More light snow showers are forecast for the early hours of Thursday morning.

For those of us eagerly waiting for more sunshine and warmer temperatures, the outlook for April looks promising.

Temperatures could reach up to 28 °C in the middle of the month, according to independent weather forecaster Jim Dale.

But before that, Yorkshire might have to brave heavy showers, hail and even thunderstorms.
