Liverpool has enjoyed scorching weather as part of a July heatwave this week.
Temperatures soared throughout the UK - and the region has experienced glorious conditions with temperatures even expected to reach a staggering 29C tomorrow.
However, the forecast for the weekend is less optimistic as the Met Office is predicting a break in the sunshine.

The forecasting agency is predicting a cloudy start to Saturday with light showers anticipated around lunchtime.
The weather will remain warm as it will stay around the 20C mark for the majority of the day with sunny intervals expected around 4pm following the showers.
The outlook for Sunday is similar as the day will start cloudy around 15C.
Temperatures will rise to around 20C as the day progresses with a a 40% chance of showers at 1pm.
The chance of rainfall will increase to 60% between 4pm and 7pm before levelling off in the evening when it will reduce to 40% again at 10pm.
