Met Office snow and ice weather warning puts Lanarkshire midweek fixtures in doubt

The Met Office has issued a yellow snow and ice weather warning which is set to impact on football fans in Lanarkshire tonight.

Albion Rovers clash with Cowdenbeath, which has already been rescheduled, is set for a pitch inspection at 2.30pm with a risk of ice and snow in Coatbridge.

Motherwell are set to host St Mirren tonight in their fixture that was axed due to poor weather a couple of weeks ago.

West Dunbartonshire has been issued with a snow and ice warning from 8pm with Clyde set to travel to Lanarkshire to face Dumbarton.

The warning states that roads and railways may be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services for the area.
