Met Office snow and ice weather warning for Motherwell fans ahead of St Johnstone clash

fans travelling to Perth tonight have been urged to take care when travelling by the Met Office following a weather warning.

A warning for snow and ice remains in place ahead of kick-off tonight.

The Fir Park faithful have been warned of "snow showers and icy stretches" that may lead to disruption.

The yellow warning states: "There is a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel."

One game in Lanarkshire has already been axed today with the junior clash between Glencairn and Benburb called off due to the weather.
