Met Office say West Lothian is set to sizzle as another heatwave looks to be on the way

West Lothian will enjoy more summer weather with forecasts predicting another mini-heatwave.

The Met Office predictions say that temperatures are set to hit as high as 26° tomorrow and the warm weather will last until at least Tuesday (July 20) at least.

The BBC 14-day weather prediction predicts temperatures hovering around 20° for at least another two weeks in West Lothian.

The Met Office say that the day will start off with some cloud tomorrow before the weather will pick up as the day goes on, before the county is decked in glorious sunshine in the afternoon.

A spokesperson said of tomorrow: “Any remaining mist and low cloud soon dispersing. Then a dry, bright day with plenty of sunshine. Becoming very warm with light winds. Maximum Temperature 26 °C.

“Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Settled weather continuing on Friday and over the weekend. All parts will stay dry and very warm with plenty of sunshine.”
