Met Office reveal Glasgow weather forecast for Christmas Day

With a week to go until Christmas, the Met Office has forecast what kind of weather we can expect in Glasgow on December 25.

And of course there's been several bold predictions as to whether or not our city could be become blanketed in snow this Christmas Day.

Sadly, the bad news is we won't have a white Christmas in Glasgow this year, according to forecasters - as it stands.

However, it certainly looks like we're going to land the second best outcome - it's predicted there won't be any rain.

The Met Office say come Wednesday, December 25, we're likely to see a largely cloudy, cool day, with no rain predicted and the temperature expected to peak at 6C.

And it certainly could be a frosty start to Christmas morning. On Christmas Eve we're likely to have chilly, but sunny weather with overnight temperatures into the morning of the 25th set to go as low as 1C.

So there we have it, Glasgow. If you're dreaming of a white Christmas, we're sorry to disappoint you, however, it looks like it's going to feel all frosty and festive when Santa arrives this year.
