Rain is forecast across the North West until Thursday, according to The Met Office.
The rest of Sunday morning will see heavy and persistent rain with the north of the region feeling the heaviest downpours.
There in an 80% chance of a downpour around 4-5pm.
The region will see calmer, dryer weather this evening but clouds will persist with a maximum temperature of 10°C.

Further outbreaks of rain are 'likely' overnight, though winds should ease.
Monday
Valentine's Day is predicted to start with clouds and rain showers though there may be some sunny spells later on.
There will be a maximum temperature of 9°C across the North West, with temperatures at night dipping to 4°C.
Next Week
A cold start Tuesday, but quickly turning unsettled with outbreaks of rain.
Tuesday will be cold with outbreaks of rain and Wednesday will carry a risk of gales and heavy rain.
Conditions should ease on Thursday.
