Met Office Leeds weather forecast and when it will be warmest as sunshine continues

It will be a bright and sunny day in Leeds today (Saturday).

Sunshine will last throughout Saturday with no rain forecast for the city. However, a chilly start to the day is expected, with temperatures of between 6C and 9C for much of the morning.

It will begin to feel much warmer in the afternoon with highs of 13C expected in the city today, according to the Met Office.

Temperatures will begin to drop again at around 6pm and it will be a cool evening. The sun will rise in Leeds at 6.12am and set again at 6.17pm.

The Met Office is predicting a "chilly start to Saturday with early morning mist and fog patches soon clearing" in Yorkshire. The county is set for a "dry day with plenty of sunshine".

A noticeable breeze is likely to be felt in most parts of the county, according to the forecaster. The weather will turn much cooler in Leeds on Sunday, with highs of just 9C expected in the city tomorrow.
