The Met Office have issued a weather warning for rain in Wales on Friday (Met Office)

A statement from the Met Office reads: "A band of rain will arrive across parts of Wales, central and northern England during the early hours of Friday and then remain slow moving through much of the day.

"Within this area 15-30mm of rainfall is expected widely.

"50-70mm may occur across high ground of western Wales and potentially the Pennines.

"The band of rain will clear to the southeast by Friday evening."

The heavy rainfall is expected to bring flooding to some areas.

It's also predicated the bus and train services will be delayed as a result of the weather, and driving conditions will be more difficult.

According to the warning impact matrix, a yellow warning is estimated to have medium likelihood.
