This comes off the back of weather warnings in Wales for rain and wind on Friday and Saturday.

A spokesman from the Met Office said lightning and hail is likely with 10-20mm of rainfall in an hour.

He also said it was likely there could be some flooding in affected areas and a good chance of driving conditions being affected by spray, standing water, and hail. There could also be a short term loss of power.

Regarding the general Wales forecast, the spokesman said: "Daytime showers will ease to leave a largely dry night with clear spells for most. Perhaps the odd shower, heavy at times, along the south coast and the Bristol Channel overnight.

"It will be cooler than last night with minimum temperatures at 6C."

On Monday, there will be sunnier spells and scattered showers but some places with stay largely dry with maximum temperatures of 20C.
