The beautiful Bank Holiday weather which saw sunshine and soaring temperatures has come to an abrupt end due to imminent thunderstorms.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms covering parts of Wales, lasting until 9pm tonight.
This could potentially cause temporary disruption to travel and power supplies in affected areas, which include Conwy , Denbighshire , Flintshire and Wrexham .
The news is a far cry from the weekend when parts of Wales were warmer than Barcelona with Cardiff reaching temperatures of 23.6C on Monday.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Although not everywhere will get one, heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to break out across central and northern England and parts of northeast Wales during Wednesday afternoon, easing from the south during the evening.
"These thunderstorms bring the potential for lightning strikes and hail, with sudden downpours and gusty winds."

The warning indicates risks of possible damage to building and structures from lightning strikes and short term loss of power and delay to train services likely.
Driving conditions could also be affected by spray, standing water or hail and flooding to some properties is possible.
The general forecast for Wales predicts a clearer evening on Wednesday night and a dry and breezy night but further cloud and outbreaks of rain could arrive by dawn.
On Thursday morning, cloud and rain will clear and brighter skies will follow interrupted by heavy, thundery showers.
For the rest of the week, sunshine and showers are likely wind and rain expected on the weekend.
