The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning for rain as flooding downpours are set to continue in the wake of Storm Dennis.
After a weekend marred by devastating flooding, the stormy spell will continue to hammer pockets of the country beginning at the middle of the week.
The weather warning, issued for north-west and south Wales, will come into effect at 6pm on Wednesday and last until 3pm on Thursday as another Atlantic storm system moves over the UK.
This further spell of rainfall is likely to become particularly prolonged over areas of high ground, leading to the chance for flooding and travel disruption.
Monday's forecast from the Met Office
"Whilst there is more uncertainty over the rainfall totals for south Wales, there is a small chance that 50-60 mm could fall here in 24 hours," the Met Office said.
"There is higher confidence in the rainfall for north-west Wales, with between 70 and 100 mm of rain most likely."
With the ground already saturated from Storm Dennis and rivers running high, particularly in south Wales, further flooding is on the cards.
Homes and businesses should prepare for the risk.
Delays to train and bus services are also expected as well as difficult driving condition for motorists.
The wet weather is expected to clear on Thursday before additional spells of unsettled weather at the weekend.
