The Met Office have issued a weather update for Edinburgh as the UK prepares for storm Wanda.
A tropical storm, named Wanda, is heading to the UK bringing with it heavy rain and strong winds by Tuesday.
This comes after the north of Scotland has already seen gusts of 60-70 miles per hour.
The Daily Record reports that Met Office forecaster Dan Harris has warned that the storm is on its way, while Netweather and STV forecaster Jo Farrow added: “If Wanda gets caught up with another Atlantic low pressure, its tropical energy could help bring wet and windy weather to the UK.”
The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for parts of England but Scotland looks like it will dodge the flood alerts this week.
However heavy rain is expected to fall in the night for Edinburgh and drizzle will continue throughout the week.

A southwesterly wind will bring cool air and gusts of up to 27mph to the city.
Today (November 8), heavy rain is forecasted to fall from 2pm and will slightly ease by 4pm. In the night, from 10pm, Edinburgh is predicted to experience showers, that will be heavier through the night.
Dark clouds and rainfall will continue through the morning until 10am Tuesday November 9 and a break in the clouds will allow sunny intervals to bask onto the city from 12pm to 4pm.
According to the Met Office, the outlook for Wednesday to Friday is: "Mainly dry, breezy few days with sunny spells and just a few light showers. There is a possibility of some rain and stronger winds for a time on Friday morning."
