Met Office issue new weather warning for snow and ice this week

Another day, another weather warning, folks.

It's snow and ice this time, as per yesterday's weather warning, with the Met Office issuing a yellow warning which comes into place tonight.

Forecasters predict Glasgow could be hit with snow and ice from 10pm this evening until 10am tomorrow morning, with overnight temperatures set to fall to 1C.

And with the potential for ice and snow, comes the possibility for travel disruption.

What to expect

  • Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
  • Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
  • Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths

Take care out there, Glasgow!
