May Bank holiday has come and gone along with the weekend's sunshine which improved temperatures on Saturday and cranked up the heat for runners in the Bristol 10K on Sunday.
Today (May 7), the Met Office predicts the weather will be a lot cooler forecasting scattered and light showers throughout most of the country.
While other parts of the UK should expect brighter intervals, Bristol looks like it will be cloudy for most of the day with a likelihood of rain by the evening.
