Met Office forecasts where and when thunderstorms are due to hit Wales on Tuesday

Another round of thunderstorms are forecast to hit Wales.

A 21-hour from the early hours of Tuesday.

Met Office forecasters have warned there is a chance that homes and businesses could be damaged by floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.

Commuters have been told to expect some delays on rail and bus services, with spray from sudden downpours likely to lead to difficult driving conditions.

There is also the chance that storms could cause power cuts.

After a largely warm and settled day across Wales on Monday, storm clouds are set to move in from the south early in the evening, according to Met Office forecaster Alex Burkill.

"Heavy, thundery, showery rain pushing into the south-west could cause some spray on the roads for evening rush hour here," he said.

Rain is expected to move through the south and western parts of the country from about 5pm on Monday.

Pembrokeshire,  Swansea, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion look set to get the worst of the early rain on Monday evening as it moves north.

Conditions will clear towards the end of the evening.
