Edinburgh is set to see some pleasant weather just in time for the Bank Holiday weekend.
With people across the country having Friday off work in celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee — marking 70 years since she took the throne — there'll be plenty of opportunity to head out and enjoy the sun.
According to forecaster the Met Office, there will be "dry, brighter weather" this afternoon following a cloudy morning.

Throughout the day — and weekend — the Met Office warns that the UV index will be high, so sun protection is recommended if you head out.
