Ireland's forecast for June looks likely to bring regular warm and settled conditions with temperatures staying in the high teens and low 20's.
Met Eireann has pinpointed week 2 of June for a return of rainy conditions, however, the southern half of the country will remain drier.
Current forecasts show that week 3 will be drier than normal and week four will see a return of some unsettled conditions once again.
May 31 - June 6
Conditions will be generally warm and dry this week, with average temperatures staying above normal for this time of year, and rainfall will be below average.
However, lower pressure to the south may bring spells of showery rain over the whole country at times later in the week.
This rain is expected to occasionally turn heavy or thundery and there is potential for high accumulations.
June 7 - 13
The general outlook for week two shows settled conditions country-wide, however, rainfall will vary through the week.
There will be plenty of dry spells in many areas while the southern half of the country will be slightly drier than normal while further north rainfall totals will be near average.
June 14 - 20
Although the Irish forecaster says predictions are not certain at this point, it looks as if there won't be any major changes in conditions from week 2.
The weather will be fairly average for mid-June, with temperatures remaining the same.
However, there is a signal for slightly drier than normal conditions across the country towards the end of the week.
June 21 - 27
Similarly, confidence is low for this week, but conditions look set to take a turn once more, with low pressure over Ireland bringing some rain.
West and northern areas will bear the brunt of the bad conditions while elsewhere across Ireland, levels of rain will be normal for the time of year.
