Parts of the country could see 23C heat today as Ireland's mini-heatwave continues into the weekend.
The east and south of the country are likely to get the best of the conditions with plenty of cloud in parts.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Mild, humid and breezy today with a fair amount of cloud and some patches of rain or drizzle, especially in the south and west.
"Some sunny breaks also, the best of these in the east and northeast. Highest temperatures of 17 to 23 degrees, coolest in the south and west, and warmest in north Leinster and east Ulster with fresh southwest breezes."
