Met Eireann has issued a status yellow wind and rain warning for eleven counties for the May Bank Holiday Monday.
The forecaster has warned that parts of Ireland could be hit with spot flooding and snow as thundery falls land tonight.
A warning has been issued Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, and Wexford.
It comes into effect at 3am on Monday and will stay in place until 10pm as the weather will be "unseasonably wet and windy."

The warning reads: "Status Yellow - Wind and Rain warning for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Wexford.
"Unseasonably wet and windy.

"Southwesterly winds, veering northerly through Monday will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65 kph with gusts up to 100 kph, particularly in coastal areas and on higher ground.
"Heavy rain in conjunction with the wind will lead to spot flooding with a risk of wave overtopping in coastal areas."

Met Eireann forecast a "wet and windy" start to Monday with more rain.
There is also set to be 'damaging gusts' on Monday with some sunshine and hail.

Met Eireann said: "A wet and windy start to Bank Holiday Monday with further heavy spells of rain leading to spot flooding.
"Fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds will veer westerly with some damaging gusts through the day.
"Winds will continue to reach gale force along coastal areas of the southeast, southwest and west."
There will be some wintery showers as temperatures plummet to lows of 2 degrees on Monday night.
The forecaster added: "Rather windy with scattered showers and clear spells - a few wintry showers over northern hills towards morning.
"Fresh to strong and gusty north to northwest winds will decrease moderate to fresh overnight. Lowest temperatures of 2C to 5C."
Tuesday will be cool and blustery with sunshine and widespread showers.
Some showers will be heavy with hail and possible sleet on higher ground.
It will be relatively cool for much of the coming week with northwest breezes feeding down sunshine and showers.
