Met Eireann have forecast a warm week ahead with plenty of dry and even sunny spells expected in the middle of November.
But don't get excited just yet as forecasters are predicting the cool weather to return by the end of the week.
Expert Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather wrote last night: "A bit of a temperature rollercoaster coming over the next 10 days on latest ECWMF charts.
“Some mild weather to cool back to mild and then possibly very cool! Wait and see for now.”
Thursday is set to bring the mildest day of the week before things take a turn on Saturday.
Here's Met Eireann's forecast for Dublin:
Today
It’s set to be cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle today but it will brighten up through the morning as rain and drizzle clears into the Irish Sea. It will be largely dry with spells of sunshine by afternoon.
Highest temperatures of 11 or 12 degrees in a light north westerly breeze.
The forecaster also said: “Staying dry tonight with clear spells, though it will turn cloudier towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees with mist and fog patches developing in a light southwest breeze.”
Tomorrow
It will be dry with bright spells to start tomorrow but clouds will thicken through the morning with patchy light rain and drizzle spreading from the northwest by afternoon.
Highest temperatures of 11 or 12 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds.
