Hellish thunderstorms are making their way to Dublin and it's going to be a wet one for most of the weekend.
While we may have some bouts of sunshine early today the ground is already wet outside and it's a sign of what's to come.
This afternoon expect thunderstorms and probably some localised flooding in key spots.
It won't be too cold though with temperatures reaching 13C and then overnight it'll clear before the mist and fog sets in.
Met Eireann says: "Cloud and outbreaks of rain will clear northeastwards this morning, with sunshine and scattered showers following. The showers will become more widespread later in the afternoon and evening, with some thunderstorms likely and a risk of localised spot flooding. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in mostly moderate southeast or east winds, becoming light to moderate southwest later.
"There'll still be some lingering showers to begin tonight, but these will mostly die away, so becoming mainly dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in just light variable breezes and with mist and fog forming and becoming dense in places."
If you think Sunday will be any better well don't get your hopes up as there's more rain on the way.
And Met Eireann warns that we're going to be starting the week quite unsettled too - but that's expected to clear eventually.
For Sunday Met Eireann says: "The mist and fog will clear early tomorrow morning, and it will be mainly dry to begin with some sunshine. Showers will develop though through the morning, becoming fairly widespread into the afternoon and evening, many heavy and with a risk of thunderstorms and spot flooding. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in light to moderate northwest to north breezes."
